디자이너나 그래픽 계통에서 일하시는분들, 또는 블로그를 운영하시는 경우 포토샵 프로그램 많이 쓰시죠?

다른 프로그램 파일이나 사진파일과는 달리 포토삽PSD의 경우는 미리보기 이미지인 썸네일이 지원되지 않아 너무 불편하셨을거에요,,

 

이렇게 PSD파일형태로만 보이고 실제 내용물에 대한 확인이 어려워서 모두 열어봐야하는 불편함이 있었습니다.

이런 불편함을 날려줄 프로그램을 알려드려고 해요~ 간단한 설치만 하면 끝!

이런 문제를 해결하는 프로그램이 여러가지 있지만 유료인 경우가 대부분이라 ㅠㅠ

Please read carefully the following information:

As SageThumbs is a Windows Explorer context menu extension, there is no an executable file that you should launch to bring it up. To use it, just open any folder with image files in Windows Explorer, and then right-click a file you want to preview. You'll see the thumbnail immediately in the context menu.

To enable thumbnails for Adobe Illustrator (ai), Postscript (ps, eps) and Adobe Acrobat (pdf) files you need installed old Ghostscript library:

• AFPL Ghostscript 8.54 32-bit (gs854w32.exe)
• AFPL Ghostscript 8.54 64-bit (gs854w64.exe)

Troubleshooting

To fix unwanted SageThumbs extension:

1. Uncheck problem extension in SageThumbs options and press OK;
2. Restore extension association in original application or using Windows Control Panel;
3. Clear Windows thumbnail cache using Windows Clean Manager (cleanmgr.exe);
4. Reboot.

Note: It may be sufficient to make not all those steps.

External plugins

SageThumbs can use external XnView plugins, it tries to automatically detect XnView installation folder or if failed it will use predefined folder. Typically this folder is "C:\Program files\XnView\PlugIns\" for 32-bit SageThumbs on 32-bit Windows or 64-bit SageThumbs on 64-bit Windows and "C:\Program Files (x86)\XnView\!PlugIns\" for 32-bit SageThumbs on 64-bit Windows. So if you have no XnView installed you can create this folder manually and unpack plugins to it. Just don't forget that you need same "bit capacity" for plugins and SageThumbs.

System Requirements

• Windows XP/2003/Vista/2008/7/2012/8/8.1 32/64-bit
• About 5 Mb of disk space + additional space for cache

Translation

SageThumbs can be easily translated to other languages. This is possible through the use of "PO-Localization 1.0.0.4" software library.

New translation

1. Download and install PoEdit.
2. Copy "SageThumbs.dll.pot" file (can be found in SageThumbs installation folder) under new name "SageThumbs.dll.XX.po" near "SageThumbs.dll" file. Where "XX" is a 2-digit (or 4-digit) hexadecimal code of language, see "Language Codes Table". For example Russian has code 0x19 so its a "SageThumbs.dll.19.po".
3. Open new file in PoEdit, translate and save as UTF-8 (it's by default)
4. Open SageThumbs options and check a new language in it
5. E-mail PO-file to me: raspopov@cherubicsoft.com. File will be definitely included in the next version

Update existing translation

1. Download fresh "SageThumbs.dll.pot" file.
2. Open your .PO-translation file by PoEdit.
3. Select menu item "Catalogue" → "Update from POT file…" and open "SageThumbs.dll.pot", you'll see what was added to and what was removed from new translation.

자 이렇게 잘 따라서 설치를 하셨다면 아마도 이제 PSD 썸네일이 보이실거에요!

그런데 간혼 사이사이 아직도 안보이는 PSD가 있다면

SageThumbs 옵션에서 PSD 파일을 보기 위해서 PSD 파일 최대 크기를 지정합니다.

기본 설정이 10MB 이므로 작업 중인 PSD 파일의 용량이 10MB 가 넘으면 썸네일 미리 보기로 표시되지 않습니다. 

자신의 작업 용량에 맞게 용량을 지정해 줍니다.

지원하는 파일 형식도 미리 보기가 필요한 확장자만 지정하는 것이 좋습니다.
